Enjoyed in a pint glass
A: pours a very deep black with a finger of extremely silky and creamy hazelnut colored head which lingers beautifully before leaving a pretty nice amount of lacing
S: beautiful chocolate malts and a really great sweetness in the finish
T: the chocolate malts are seen throughout but to me, they almost taste like the powdered chocolate drink mix that instant hot cocoa comes from, there is a nice sweetness up front
M: drinks thickly but with a noticeable and distinct silkiness which i would compare to milk (ironic and imaginative i know haha) almost no carbonation tingle and finishes with a bit of a chalky feeling like after eating a candy cigarette
O: a decent milk stout, just didn't had the depth i had been looking for nor the complexity of the notes on the palate, everything just kind of tasted 'commercial'
Serving type: nitro-bottle
