Both the CO2 and Nitro versions are incredible milk stouts, excellent representatives of the style.
This is a review of the Nitro style (which I believe surpasses the original)
A -Pour hard, its even listed on the bottle cap, but it took a suggestion from a friend to realize what this actually means. By placing an empty pint glass atop the bottle and then literally inverting both you can really agitate the beer (I have never had the experience of it foaming over). This creates several inches of writhing foaming head in your glass that very quickly gives way to liquid leaving about 2cm of remaining head.
- If not properly agitated this beer will initially pour thin and then may begin to gently fizz generating a thin rim of head.
S- Rich malty roasts with subtle hints of chocolate and coffee.
T- The frothy head is sweet with lactose, incredibly milky and the best part of the beer. Initially flavors are very milky with the creaminess complemented by the mouthfeel. Finishes with strong malt flavor and a very subtle souring.
M- Creamy, silky, smooth, incredible. Again, the pour really dictates this. At first I thought this beer was flat and somewhat thin.
O- An excellent beer for anyone who enjoys milk. Or beer. Just seeing the Nitro gush foam into my glass was worth the price. The only real negative point would be the slight souring on the backend, but this was a very minor component of the flavor profile.

A - Poured very dark black had a thin tan head looked like soda foam. Great lacing rings left around glass.
S - Very sweet and honestly like milk chocolate.
T - Taste is great. Chocolate with vanilla undertones. Starts off creamy/milky and finishes a bit dry with a vanilla/caramel taste. So good.
M - Creamy, smooth, slightly below average carbonation. Extremely drinkable. Will definitely buy again

12oz bottle poured into a stout glass.
Pours nice and black, with little head that dissipates quickly.
Smells like sweet cream. Hint of coffee/toffee.
Tastes great. Creamy texture with a good amount of sweetness, but not overpowering. Subtle vanilla taste at first that is more noticeable on the finish. Slight coffee taste. I detect some slight spices, but don't know where that could be coming from.
Overall a very good beer. Bought a six pack of this and I'm looking forward to seeing how this tastes in a few months.
