Poured from a bottle with a best by date of 2/26/14; into a pub glass.
Appearance - very black with a thin, creamy, tan head. Rings of lace up and down the glass.
Smell - some cocoa and coffee.
Taste - a bit creamy, some bitter chocolate and hops. Tasty, but not very complex.
Feel - an initial wave of bitterness that fades to a milky finish.
Overall - an enjoyable stout at a good price point!
