Poured from bottle during Left Hand tasting at Pat's Liquors in Porter, IN on 7/22/10. The brewery rep was pouring and telling us all about the beers as we went. Very informational and fun.
A: Very dark, brown head.
S: Coffee and roasted malt. A little creaminess or caramel, too.
T: Very nice! Sweet coffee flavors and roastiness!
M: Very creamy and nice. No syrupy feeling.
D: Very nice to drink. Only 5% ABV makes it fine to have a couple of them.
I bought some to take home before leaving the store!
