imbibed at Brixx pizza off a nitro tap
Appearance is black, one of only a few truly opaque beers I have seen. Head is beautiful, looks more like a tan cream than the head of a beer. Small but tenacious head that doesn't leave a lacing per se, but more of a creamy coating to the glass. Smell is roasted malt with some sweetness, coffee. Smoky roasted malt, sweetness, and that stout bitterness. Mouthfeel is very low carb, almost flat.
A sweet and surprisingly mellow stout, my first milk stout. Too low carb for my tastes, almost comes off as flat. Better than your average stout.
Serving type: nitro-tap
