So I've been a huge fan of the standard left hand milk stout since I first tried it almost a year ago. The woman at the tavern here told me they had the nitro tap version? Sign me up. Pours that beautiful black silver waterfall of the nitro process. Top it with that creamy cappucino foam head... it's beautiful.
The nose is quite muted with a simple creamy fermented note.
Imma cut to the chase. This is the milk stout but creamy as...
ahh... let's just say its creamy silky smoothe dghjfisbcjsofnejvn

My favorite beer out there right now. This stout sets the standard for all other stouts. A fine dark color and aroma of coffee and chocolate milk sets up a smooth and think taste that we all expect from our stouts. The chocolate flavors leave a pleasant aftertaste that keeps you coming back.

A - Coca cola coloured, topped with a lightweight cap of mocha foam.
S - Smoke and coffee hit me first off. Roasted malts play a supporting role. The aroma is nice but not outstanding.
T - Mild yet a little underwhelming. All the classic stout flavours are there, but they're muted.
M - It's definitely super smooth, so credit to Left Hand for figuring out how to put nitro beer in a bottle. Be that as it may, it feels smooth in part due to feeling undercarbonated. Milky yet too thin to be called creamy.
O - I'd try this again on tap, but this beer reiterates to me that it's hard to go back once you've gone Imperial. This might be a nice step on the ladder if you seek to climb upwards from Guinness.
