served in my 12 oz. snifter
A- very small 1/4 inch white head that quickly dissolves. poor head retention. dark brown with red hues....not typical for stouts
S- roasted coffee beans, bitter chocolate or cocoa, lactose
T- rich malty taste with hints of roasted coffee notes. Lactose is apparent, smooth chocolate or cocoa taste is also prevalent. I can detect the use of a small amount of noble hops for balance in the finish.
M- medium mouthfeel. very smooth.
D- very drinkable, great session beer, not too complex
Serving type: bottle
