Appearance - dark mahogany color with khaki head

smell - roasted/charred malts, expresso, molasses, hint of milk chocolate

taste - those roasted/charred malts in the smell are also prominent in the taste, molasses, coffee

mouthfeel - medium bodied, medium carbonation, charred taste followed by slight sweetness followed by some bitterness, not as balanced as I would like

overall - decent stout I am glad to have tried, not sure about a revisit, though

Price Point - $2.25/12oz single

A- Hard poured upside down into a pint glass. The cascading starts immediately. It's incredible. Like the smoke plume from a rocket being launched into space. After a while the cascading stops and a razor sharp line between blackness and a whipped cream like tan head is left over. Coolest pouring beer ever!

S- lots of roasted malts, coffee and chocolate.

T- Gentle hops followed immediately by creamy dark chocolate and coffee as it goes down. The aftertaste is great too, like you just drank a dark chocolate mocha. Has a slight metallic taste coming from the head on the first few sips.

M-Creamy and smooth with light carbonation.

O- pretty damn good. By far the best looking beer I've poured. Taste is pretty good. The flavors aren't as strong as the regular Milk Stout but I guess that's the trade off for a nitro. I love showing this off to people as my 'if you like this, then drink this' project.

Picked up a sixer from Total Wine in late March for $9.99. Bottled on 2-12-12.

Beer poured perfectly, in a nitro fashion as advertised. Head is still a pinky width 10 minutes after the pour.

Nose is roasted coffee and chocolate - very nice!

Taste is roasted malts with coffee and chocolate dominating. There is enough hops to keep this from being too sweet.

Mouthfeel is thin for the style, with some smoothness.

Overall i like this brew, it has some good characteristics to make it worth coming back to in the future!
