Wonderfully creamy head and nitro pour. Head stick around the entire time, sticky lace clings to the sides of the glass. The beer is plenty dark, almost a the darkest brown possible.

Admittedly a lighter smell. Chocolate, oats, light char, pleasant roasted malts, milk/lactose, dark fruits, hints at vanilla extract, and light coffee for that matter, maybe molasses and nuttiness as well.

Rich and malty, chocolate, oat-like smoothness and taste, light char, sweetness/cream/lactose (though not extensive), dark fruit notes, light coffee and bitterness, light vanilla, hints of molasses.

Mouthfeel is wonderful. Smooth and creamy consistency. medium (maybe medium-low) body, with the awesome nitro smooth carbonation feel, and a pleasantly lingering slightly bitter finish.

Great beer. I used to drink Guiness draught cans on a regular basis because I love me a smooth drinking nitro beer every so often, but since Nitro Milk Stout came out, it has easily kicked Guiness to the curb.

Bought a single at HEB in Round Rock.

Perfect looking beer. Gave a hard pour...deep black, big billowy head. Absolutely beautiful lacing...thick creamy off white head leaves tons of ring after each sip...much like a Guinness.

Yum. Rich chocolate, vanilla, and coffee on the scent. Deep burnt malt as well.

Excellent. Taste follows suit. Silky smooth beer with a lot of flavor without overloading the alcohol...what's not to like here? Good combo of choc, vanilla, coffee, dark malt, and cream. Almost like a dessert beer...not sure I'd session this one, even with the 6% abv being sessionable...just a bit too rich.

Glad I finally tried it!

If it wasn't for the slight tinge of amber when held up to the light, it would pour jet black. A thin half-finger (a finger isn't really an accurate figure of measurement, but you get the idea) of a chocolate milk colored head formed, even when I "poured hard." Oh well.

Smells are of high percentage dark chocolate and anise.

Taste is phenomenal-- espresso, dark chocolate, a subtle herbal bitterness. The finish is smooth and pleasing. Feels quite silky in the mouth. Fantastic. I can see why this keeps raking in the awards and praise-- it's all deserved.
