A: A very dark brown pour with a beautiful, medium sized, super dense head. Retention is excellent, the head never fades. Ever. Pretty solid wall of lacing too.

S: Lots of creamy chocolate and roasted malt.

T: Lots of milk/cream with some nice chocolate and roasted malt. Hint of bitter coffee and more cream in the aftertaste. Simple.

M: Medium bodied, very creamy.

O: What can I say? Left Hand's Milk Stout is one of my favorite milk stouts, a great stand-by. The addition of the nitro carbonation kicks the mouthfeel and appearance up a half a notch, making it even better!

Served in a pint glass at Sarasota's World of Beer.

A- Comes to me as a beyond-opaque black with a perfect 1/4 inch white crown that's flat, smooth and sticks around for nearly the entire drink. Full sheets of lacing also follow down the glass for the duration.

S- Subtle yet enthralling coffee nose with a bit of dark chocolate.

T- Heaven. Deep roasted malts that are accentuated by the creamy mouthfeel. The dark chocolate and coffee continue but are so controlled, making the drinkability fly off the charts.

M- Like I said, creamy and soft. Like a pillow for the palate. Medium-high carbonation and a full body.

O- So good, it makes me weak in the knees. This is the only way to have this beer

12 oz bottle to glass. Poured hard straight down, tan head took a few seconds to build, very small bubbles, frothy. Slightly roasted smell. Mostly taste some bitter coffee and malt, a little sweet but not as sweet as other milk stouts I've tasted. A little alcohol at the end. Bittering lingers, more like a coffee bitter than a hop bitter. Not bad, but I wouldn't consider this a session beer, a bit too big.

A - Deep dark black, ruby on the edges, about a fingers worth of khaki head

S - Nice roasted malts, milk chocolate, hints of coffee

T- Incredibly sweet and smooth, this is so drinkable i can't believe it. A very milk chocolate flavor like chocolate milk, roasted malts and burnt toast in the background

M- Creamy and smooth

O- A damn fine brew if you are in the mood for an incredibly drinkable sweet beer.

Blackish with some chestnut highlight at the bottom of the glass. Small, creamy head shrinks to a bubbly covering. Solid roasty, chocolaty aroma along with a good amount of creamy coffee. Chocolate roast dominant flavor. Sweet and malty, mild lactose, and vanilla. Quite tasty...one of those beers I frequently overlook, and wrongly so. Medium bodied and smooth. A quality Milk Stout all around. Not one to be ignored...

Dark, coffee colored beer. Creamy, tan head that lingered.

The nose was full of dark, roasted malts with hints of chocolate and espresso.

Lapping over the tongue, I thought it was a bit light in the mouthfeel, but it was probably medium-full.

Dark, rich malt flavors were very pleasing. Roasted coffee, bittersweet chocolate, and that classic lactose sugar to bring out a sweetness not found in a classic stout.

Bottled ~ 2 months when I drank it.

A - black with ruby edges. Weak lacing, good original foam that dissipated.

S - roasted smells, burnt smells, + very light hops

T- burnt taste evident, not over powering. hops presence nuetral, left hops taste on my tongue. No taste for the 6% ABV claimed.

M- Body ok.

O- I do not want to drink this any more. Too much burnt taste evident and hops a bit on the high side. Probably rate this beer a 4 out of 10 for a milk stout.
