An excellent representation of the style this one delivers exactly what it advertises.
Pours a tad of the lighter side of black, very minimal head. When it appears on Nitro tap, this is hard to pass up, it adds at least a half point on the scale.
The aroma is a mix of light coffee and just enough lactic acid to let you know what this stout is about.
Tastes very close to the smell, this isn't overly complex, it delivers that coffee/milk combo simply and effectively. Not a beer you can spend the night swirling and contemplating, but it just works being a truly enjoyable beer to drink.

A: After a hard pour, this thing is beautiful. The foam rises to the top to create a solid two-finger head. It settles relatively quickly, but then again, you probably want to drink it.
S: Chocolate, coffee. Pretty mild.
T: Chocolate, coffee. Not overpowering, and no real alcohol taste. Would't mind a little more character; there's virtually no aftertaste other than mild bitterness.
M: This is where this beer really shines. Extremely smooth and thick. Finishes clean and foamy. Low carbonation due to the nitro, which makes for a great milky feel.
O: A great bottled stout, although it's a bit underwhelming for the price ($10/sixpack, local).
