A - Poured from a 22oz bomber into a pint glass. Black and clear as it poured from the bottle but very opaque with a darkish tan, 2-finger head and a lot of lace when in the glass. The head dies to about 1/4-inch but remains throughout the session.
S - There is plenty of smoke in the aroma but also some sweet malt. Overall it's a bit reminiscent of smoked bacon. A very nice intro.
T/M - Full-bodied and plenty of carbonation. A little sweet up front followed by lots of smoke, but not an overwhelming amount. Some molasses and dark chocolate but the finish is smoky and dry.
D - This went down fairly easily for a smoked beer but as it warmed it got a little harder to take down. Be sure to start with this one cold and finish before it gets too warm.
