Bottled on 12/28/11
I poured this beer aggressively to get a finger of cream colored head. Body is a nice clear amber. No lacing noted.
The aroma is mainly malty. A lightly toasted English malt profile with raisins, a hint of vanilla and something sweet and sugary. Hops noted are light and grassy.
It opens up with the malt profile characteristic of and English beer, and then transitions quickly into bitter yet delicate hop flavor. The hops are gardeny but not piney, with only a hint of lemon to make an ever so light citrus profile.
Mouthfeel is light-medium bodied, easy going and refreshing. Just barely coats your tongue, mainly just sliding over to relieve it.

Appearance - Golden with a slight brown
Smell- Malty with a slight hop note
Taste- Strong malt at first giving way to hops. Very good example of an english IPA
Mouthfeel- Could be a bit smoother slight bite and a little thick
Overall- I love this IPA! Drank it out of a bottle for years but on tap is the way to go.
Serving type: on-tap
