4oz Sample from the Beer Engine.
A golden orange appearance makes this beer look really appetizing. Too bad it's all downhill from here!
Not as much of a nose as I would like. Some malt, mild hops, and a weird smell of cheese.
Taste is absolutely the definition of average. This beer won't make anyone run away, but it won't gain any fans either. Mild malt, not a ton of caramel or sweetness, more of a stale slight toast. Hops must have left the building. As weird as this sounds, the aftertaste reminds me a bit of mac & cheese. What happened here?
Watery mouthfeel but decent carb.
Drinkability suffers (unless you're eating mac and cheese, in which case you've found your perfect beer)!
Serving type: on-tap
