I've had this beer on tap twice. Both times I've felt this beer was really bad. I've had this style before and enjoyed it, I just don't feel like this beer is very good. Beyond bitter and it seemed like a burned rubber taste was present. Just nothing enjoyable about it to me. My friend also felt it was very bad.

Appearance: Very frothy beer. Light, light golden yellow with heavy lacing on the glass.

Smell: Weak malts and hops. A bit citrusy. Nothing too overwhelming or exceptional.

Taste/Mouthfeel: Doesn't taste like an IPA, even an English one. More of a malty pale ale. Cookie-like sweetness and pine hops. Thick beer that goes flat at the end.

Overall Drinkability: A nice beer that I don't love. This could definitely use a tweak here or there. I would especially love to see the flavors amped up and some more yeasty carbonation. Refreshing.

Pours amber, honey amber. A tall head of foam intially but fades into somewhat of a collar ring. A cloudy complexion.
Aroma was of floral hops though understated and a rich malt base of sweet caramel.
Taste is malty with some floral hops
Feels a bit thin on the palette slightly bitter aftertaste.
It's an English IPa so I wasn't expecting a big hop presence and thats what i got. A densent maltier brew of the English tradition.

12oz bottle in a tulip glass. 7% ABV.
I wonder why it is written to keep refrigerated...

A - Hazy amber color, medium head with a good retention and an excellent lacing. 4/5

S - Very citrusy, piney and herbal aroma. Backbone of malt reminding me some dry apricots. Very fresh and balanced smell. 4/5

T - Taste is disappointing, pretty straightforward with the hop dominant (herbal and floral). 2/5

M - Low-medium body. Alcohol is quite apparent and the bitterness is on the high side for the style. 3.5/5

O - Just on the average in my opinion. Not bad, yet nothing standing out. Have I waited too much before drinking it? I wonder... 3/5
