A: Nice golden amber color with two fingers worth of head. Dissipates to a nice thin veil of lace around the time.

S: Very aromatic from the get go. Nice floral hoppyness with a hint of caramel and some biscuity malt. Catching some very faint hints of dark fruits as well.

T: Floral hoppyness from the nose up front with some citrus notes in there as well. Then heads to the biscuity malt and sweetness of caramel and a hint of the alcohol from the higher ABV. Bitterness is minimal here and everything balances quite well. Very good brew here.

M: Minimal carbonation, your left with a creamyness in your mouth that leads way to a bit of a dryness from the high ABV.

O: Very nice balance with floral hops/citrus and malt. Everything works well, i'd def buy this again.

I got this single 12oz brown bottle as part of a build-your-own 6 pack for $9.99 at the Binny's store in Bloomingdale, IL. No freshness date.

The beer poured a hazed golden/apricot color and made a nice 2-finger white head that lasted awhile. Lacing was also decent.

Lots of fruity hop smell in this one - mostly oranges, pineapple, and mango. There is also some bready maltiness underneath the fruit.

Good balance between the citrusy hops and the bready malts. Milder bitterness than you would expect from an IPA, but tasty nonetheless. You can also pick up some alcohol in the finish.

Light to medium bodied with only moderate carbonation.

I can see myself going back for a full 6-pack of these monkeys.
