P: Clear golden orange body with minimal effervescence and topped with a thick 2 full fingers of thick frothy bone colored head. Retention is good and provided velvety lacing on the sides of the glass.
S: Sweet malts flood the nose followed by a bouquet of earthy citrus hops to counter balance the sweetness. Roasted caramel malts, cotton candy, lemon zest, grapefruit, orange peel, honey wheat bread, cardamom and sugary syrup.
T/M: Starts of with a thick salty caramel malt background and starts to dry up with earthy/citrus bitterness. Hops are more aggressive than the nose and super dry. Mouthfeel is rather light for the thick malt base and seems watered down. Bitter banana peel and sweet dinner rolls linger in the dry cottony finish. Once warmed bitter orange oil and alcohol become more prevalent.
O: The bitterness of this IPA is a touch too much. I love hops but the bitterness is a little less than desirable. There is a taste that I can't put my finger on but it almost ruins the beer. As a whole this is a good beer but not one that would be on my go to list.

It's a nice English IPA from Left Hand brewery.
Pours a medium amber color with a small white head. Goes quickly to lace and stays throughout.
Smells malty with light citrus hops, grapefruit and orange peel.
Taste of citrus and grapefruit rind. Slight malt for balance.
Good carbonation. A decent IPA.

Poured a hazy amber with a small white head.
The smell was citrus hops, lemons, oranges and grapefruit with some sweet malts.
The taste was much like the smell citrus hops, bitter but with a fairly hefty malt back bone.
It was low to medium bodied, smooth with fairly low carbonation.
Overall an excellent beer definitely worth revisiting.

400 pound monkey, the English IPA in Left Hand Brewing brand. I really enjoyed the Stranger so I gave this one a shot
Appearance - A medium to off yellow that looks intriguing but reminds me too much of a regular draft beer.
Smell - A brisk and refreshing smell that reminds me of the usual IPA's. Nothing too exciting or intriguing but good.
Taste - Crisp with bitter overtones and extra hops in the back of the first sip. I am not a big fan of IPA's but it works for it's style.
Mouthfeel - I do enjoy this aftertaste of this, good and bitter that makes me want another drink, a bit better than the Stranger offerings.
Overall - This is a good IPA, but I guess you would have to be more into this style. Personally I enjoy the Stranger in all categories minus the mouthfeel

Poured chilled in shifts into a 4-oz. sampling glass.
A: smallish head; clear orange; small carb beads; not much lacing
S: freshly smelling hops--dry and bittering
T: earthy, dank hops; quite bitter and dominating the malt; spicy and bready; fellow drinker from the UK vouched that it is close to an English ideal.
It's all about the hops here baby.
