12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Bottled 2/11/11.
Pours a nice pale orange color with a half finger of foam that fades pretty quickly. Aroma is pretty subdued. As it warms I detect some citrus hoppiness.
First sip has a bit of a harsh bite to the crystal malt flavor. Rather malty - is this because it was bottled 6 months ago? There is a solid bitterness to the malt backbone, and it goes down easier as you get a few sips in.
Overall a pretty decent APA. No huge complaints.
