"I still j***off manually"
- Big Lebowski
The logo for this one is ingenious, thank you Left Hand for a chuckle. It pours a slightly murky gold, head was small but clung around the glass well.
The aroma has a nice noble hop bitterness blended with orange citrus flavors. The cracker-like malt backbone does a good job of balancing, but doesn't overpower with sweeter flavors.
Slight hints of lemon and sour unripened peaches grace the taste buds before a lingering bitterness slides in and stays through the finish. I get no real sweetness from the malt, only a slightly dry light oyster cracker flavor.
The feel is on the light side and the carbonation crisp but not sharp. The dry finish aches you for another sip, and that's where this on gets ya.
This is quite a pale beer, the flavors are very bright. Those looking for a bold pale ale may wish to look elsewhere, but it is done well. The lightheartedness of this beer makes it effortless to drink, and is certainly sessionable.
