Light haze to the bright orange body. A small head of white foam stayed a quarter of an inch for a few minutes. Meandering streams of abundant carbonation.
A subtle blend of hops and malt. Bitterness is very faint, but has a bit of a hops resin aroma. Malt has the aroma of freshly baked biscuits. A nice balance.
Flavors have a nice spicy hops bitterness up front. The bitterness holds as a buttery malt backbone builds in strength. Just as nice on the tongue as it is the nose.
A faint touch on the watery side. Carbonation is nice, but not overpowering. Flavors cling a while.
A solid brew. Good choice to go with a pepperoni pizza. Worth picking up to try for yourself. A fine example of the style.
