Darker copper pour, almost a rusty-red character to it. Minuscule bubbles populate my pint here. Head retains nicely and is fairly thick.
Smells lightly of pine and funky dankness. Caramel, malts in there for sure too.
Initial sip is quite nice here, and I notice immediately how I really favor the mouthfeel of this brew. Lacing clings well in a soap-like fashion. Drinkable yes, with hops that don't at all disappoint. Grapefruit, spice and bitter earth. Great balance to me. The malt presence (and sweet it is) is better than where I expected based on what the smell told me and as a result this is, in my opinion, a very well-made IPA. Puckering, hoppy biscuits I'm thinking. Slick, smooth. Bitter lingering finish, and that citrus/ weed-like flowery hop flavor lasts.
Recommended highly for those who like to try different, unique IPAs with deep hop profiles.
