Served in 22oz bomber
A: Light copper color with impressive lacy head.
S: Citrus and floral notes, orange / mandarins really come through the nose.
T: Initial biscuity and slight malty flavors that sweeten into a caramel that lingers and dissolves into a mild piney and resiny after taste. Pretty impressive transition.
M: Starts out light, but becomes chewy and oily as that hop flavor kicks in. Carbonation is moderate and most noticeable at the middle and end.
O: A solid IPA by Colorado standards. It is not an overwhelmingly hoppy beer like it's Sand Diego brethren but what it lacks in power and astringency it makes up for in its flavor transitions.
