Poured from a 22oz. Bomber into a shaped pint glass...
This beer has a nice orange/amber color with a one finger foamy head that vanishes quickly.
I was very disappointed with the overall smell of this beer... I was expecting a mad hop aroma... but alas, I was left feeling cheated!
As far as taste... this beer is all hops with very little malt backbone to balance it out. Don't get me wrong... I love hops, hops, hops, but a good beer will have a maltiness mixed with the hops to balance that SOB out a little. Dig???
I will say this beer has a good mouthfeel... very resinous and on the thicker side with a high drinkability.
Overall, this beer looks good and is easy to drink, but a little disapointing in smell and taste. Still worth a try folks... remember it is only brewed once a year!!!
