Reviewed from notes. Poured from bomber into a CCB pint glass.
A: Pours a deep gold to copper in color that's not quite clear. Visible carbonation of large bubbles, and forms a one finger white head.
S: Pine, spice, melon hops atop sweet malts with just a hint of caramel.
T: Follows well, with spicy and grassy hops primarily over the bready malt. This is closer to being a balanced beer than I expected. Bitterness doesn't linger too long.
M: Chewy body, good carbonation sensation. The alcohol seems a little prominent for the listed ABV.
O: Well, it's better than I expected. Didn't expect to enjoy this much going in, as warrior hops are not usually my favorite; but, it was a pleasant drink. I don't know that I would go out of my way to have another but it's an easy drinker for a DIPA.
