This is a pretty good IPA. It looks beautiful in the glass, pouring to a clear golden amber color with an active carbonation. Has a huge 2 inch fluffy off-white head with excellent retention and decent lacing.
The smell is just as enticing. Has a grassy dry-hopped citrus note with an interesting malt profile beneath. Smells like it has at least a little bit of English malt with some toasted biscuit and toffee aroma.
The taste is good as well, but doesn't quite hold up to the nose. Up front it has a very nice hops flavor, quite citric and grassy. The hops flavor is matched with an assertive bitterness that works well with the malt selection. It might just be a little bit more bitter than I like for balance sake, but it's good.
The mouthfeel is medium in body with a soft and prickly carbonation. A little bit of an alcohol flavor, offset by combination of an acrid hops bitterness and toasty malt. Fairly easy to drink, but a little bit more balance would put this one off the charts.
