Served on-tap in a tulip glass.
One finger creamy head with good lacing. Body is copper in color, almost translucent.
Aroma of oranges, mango.
Taste has sharp ginger and orange, with malty tones.
Mouthfeel is warm, would be good on a cold, winter day.
Overall - While this would be a good beer for winter, it was served in the summer. A huge problem.

Served in a snifter at Firkin.
According to the menu, this entry in the Ambidextrous series is an imperial version of Good Juju (Great Juju, for those so inclined), brewed with organic Peruvian ginger. It pours a clear sunrise amber topped by a finger of lightly-glowing off-cream-white foam. The nose comprises hefty ginger, candi sugar, a twinge of lemon-lime (decidedly artificial), and some very light bits of sweet biscuit. The taste holds notes of bitter/minty/menthol-y ginger, some very mild biscuit in the background, and a flash of bitter grass in the finish. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, the ginger here just didn't work for me, and matters were made worse by the overpowering nature thereof. Not a fan.
