I am going to echo a fellow Georgian when I say, "nice to be able to review a taproom." i made a CO brewery pilgrimage, and am astounded by how few I can review. Left Hand was fun, but not my favorite in CO, and I cannot review them. I was surprised by this fact, though, since I had some admiration for them. Decent atmosphere on the Saturday I made it in. A nice/interesting mix of folks; met some very nice locals. One of the bartenders played a Derek Trucks album, and that warmed my Georgian soul. Anyone who reads my beerfly reviews knows music is a big factor in atmosphere. Tour was also fun, if not overwhelmingly informative. I'll give Left Hand high marks for quality, the brews tasted better there, nitro milk stout, cask sawtooth were standouts. Nothing too crazy though, no one off brews, which was disappointing. Definitely recommend the visit, as I enjoyed all my CO brewery visits, just wish I could review them all.

left hand is an institution, a brewery that helped launch my passion for craft beer, and ive tried to have everything they put out over the years, i am a huge fan, so it was a real treat to finally get up there this weekend. the place is cool, a little outside of town up there, with a few buildings on site and a large tasting room. its cozy in there, folks bellied up to the bar, playing games, just hanging out drinking great beer. the beer obviously speaks for itself, but i liked that they had a few one offs and stuff not available in the stores to taste. staff could not have been any more friendly, everyone i met was super nice. i did not take the tour, but was impressed with the size of the brewery. this is a great place to go visit and spend a day, and they definitely make some of the best beer in colorado. i had a great time here.
