Rumfish Grille
It is located in a mall which is slightly odd. By the looks of the outside you don't expect what you get when you enter the place. It is a large carribean island themed restaraunt. There are two bars, one with a deck overlooking the outside area with a stage, sand installed for a beach area, another large deck with multiple areas for seating, five fire pits with couches, and another bar at the top of the deck area. They have the crappy micro's on tap, but they do offer some not so bad local brews. The rest is island cocktails and a large selection of wine. On Sundays they feature an 11 piece jazzy funk and soul band that makes arrangements of modern and classic songs. The food we had was well cooked, but for some reason there was so much oil that came with our meals. Not sure why the cheif felt he had to do that. It is a smaller menu with mainly Southern American cuisine and a few international plates. Does southern American food go with the island theme? I would say no. I think this is a good place to go and have a few drinks, soak up the ambiance and listen to the band. Maybe the lunch items are more impressive, but I wasn't bowled over by the dinner food.
