A clear malty profile hits the nose at first sniff, with a hint of hops.
Decent two finger head emerges from a slow pour in a glass stein. A light tan color and creamy smooth on top, the head lingers through the last sip, supporting the final few drops of concentrated yeast sediment swirled from the bottom of the bottle.
The brew is a warm and inviting amber-brown color, hazy and dense from bottle fermentation. The taste is well rounded and presents the malts in an envelope of muted hop bitterness. The smooth carbonation assists with the overall enjoyment of the beverage.
Definitely worthy as an accompaniment to dinner after your next duck hunt.
