Our stout is opaque with ruby red highlights and a full textured silky body. Its inviting aroma is a complex mixture of roasty, chocolately, and malty tones. Its flavor follows through with a smooth rich balance that will excited any stout drinker. Served on a nitrogen tap.

aroma was slight choco/roasty notes
taste was coffee ice cream and oats...nice creamy cappucino flavor.
very nice 2 finger frothy head
melted milkshake mouthfeel
more like a java stout than a outmeal stout, but this was a very nice stout all the samehttp://youtube.com/watch?v=KyKLeXP2XOU

On-tap at the brewpub.
Pours black with a creamy one-finger light brown head. The head recedes into a thin layer on top leaving solid lacing.
Smells of smooth roasted malts, unsweetened chocolate, and light amounts of coffee.
Tastes similar to how it smells. Lightly roasted malt flavors up front with hints of lightly bitter dark chocolate. Light coffee flavors come in right before a solidly bitter ending.
Mouthfeel is very good. It has a very smooth thickness with soft carbonation.
Drinkability is good. I finished my glass without a problem and could have another.
Overall I definitely enjoyed this beer - the flavors could pop a bit more but as it stands it's very smooth and worth a shot.

Appearance: Dark brown, near-black body with reddish-tinted edges and a sturdy, lasting, off-white head.
Smell: Roasted malt aroma with notes of chocolate, rolled oats, cola, licorice, and cold coffee.
Taste: Malty mix of semi-sweet chocolate, roasted barley, and a pipin' hot bowl of morningtime oatmeal. Small splash of root beer. There's a slight roasty bitterness to balance the sweetness, but no real hop flavors present. Taste of thinned out coffee on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-low carbonation.
Drinkability: Fairly good, certainly quite drinkable Oatmeal Stout.

This is an excellent Oatmeal stout, but would probably taste beer if they would take it off the nitro. The body is nice and dark and the head is a good soupy light tan head. The aroma is possibly a bit weak but the flavor is excellent with a bold coffee flavor that left me wondering if espresso beans might be a part of the recipe. The body is nice and full and the beer is pretty well described as rich. Starts getting a little sour toward the last half of the pint.
