This pale golden beer is brewed with an ale yeast and conditioned with a lager yeast. This creates a light body with a smooth malt character and a clean finish that is mildly fruity.

On-tap at the brewpub, I was told it was about 5% ABV.

Pours a clear gold color with a half-finger white head. The head recedes into a wispy layer on top leaving light lacing.

Smells of husky and sweet malts with hints of herbal hops.

Tastes similar to how it smells. Grainy and sweet malt flavors up front are joined by a light bitterness midway through the sip that carries through until the end. As it warms mild floral flavors make an appearance.

Mouthfeel is good. It has a nice thickness with solid carbonation.

Drinkability is good. I didn't have a problem finishing the glass however I'm not sure about another.

Overall this was one of the smoother cream ales I can remember having however it didn't have any overly redeeming qualities. Worth a shot if you like the style.
