This is a full-bodied London-style sweet stout. Served on a nitrogen tap, it has a very smooth chocolate character with minimal hop profile that accentuates its rich, malty finish.

On Nitro-tap at the brewpub.

Pours black with a one-finger light tan head. The head recedes into a thin layer on top leaving solid lacing.

Smells of roasted malts with large amounts of smooth dark chocolate and hints of herbal hops lurking in the background.

Tastes similar to how it smells, though more robust. Smooth roasted malt flavors up front with light amounts of char and larger amounts of dark chocolate. Midway through the sip a good amount of herbal and slightly citrus flavors enter into things and carry through to a solidly bitter finish.

Mouthfeel is very good. It's got a solid thickness with smooth and grainy carbonation.

Drinkability is also very good. I finished my glass quickly and could easily have a few more.

Overall this is probably the best beer I've had from Copper Creek. This beer does a good job of straddling the line between sweet and roasted flavors and the nitro-tap actually augments the flavors as opposed to taking away from them as I've come to realize most beers on nitro-tap do. Well worth a shot if you see it on.
