I've been twice. Both times, every single beer ordered was skunked beyond drinkable well into disgusting. Would never go back.
Note: All other categories were marked low by default, because this brewpub deserves less than a 1.
So awful I have nothing more to say but need more characters.

Copper Creek is one of a few bars in Athens that manages to be somewhat classy, even when confronted with the armies of drunken, underage, sorority girls that assault the downtown area on a daily basis.
Friendly staff. They're quick, friendly, and helpful. While I have had better, I've also had far more worse. No complaints here.
Food isn't bad. Cheap wing night and trivia night are fun. But you don't come here for the food, you come here for the beer.
It's cheap ($3 a pint, or $2 on Tuesday) and it can only be purchased here. It's certainly no Westvleteran/In de Verde, but certainly worth a visit and a decent tab. The selection is limited, but that's a result of brewing only in house beer and doing small batches. I've enjoyed everything I've tried there, especially the Oatmeal Stout.
Cheap local beer that doesn't suck and has nothing to do with turtles.

Loved this place when i lived in Athens. Great specials all week. I enjoyed two dollar pint Tuesday and trivia Wednesdays. The bar tenders were always friendly and went the extra step to make sure that I was taken care of. If your in Athens make sure to stop by Copper Creek.

I love Copper Creek. It has such a great vibe. The first thing anyone will notice are the huge copper brewers in the front window. on the inside, the bars are lined with pennies and the rafters drapped with copper pans.
Copper Creek brews about 4 beers at a time seasonally and are always very affordable and delicious. $2 pints on tuesdays.
Their food is also very good. On Thursdays, they have wings for $0.35, but get there early, they always sell out. Their other selections are good and include burgers, soups, and other standard american pub foods.
The atmosphere is the most redeeming feature. This is definately a bar we ALWAYS visit on a trip down town. We head out early to enjoy a pint and relax.

This place is worth the visit. Big cooper kettle in the front of the building, old looking wood and bricks everywhere. Nice beers, very solid, I mean very good. I enjoyed the beers I had, problem is, I can't remember which ones I had but I do remember liking them. The food was decent, not gourment but decent. The beer is why I went and it didn't disappoint. Service was good, I didn't have an empty glass, but I do drink kind of slow to enjoy the beer. I would love to visit again and try all the beers on hand. We met friends there and only had a couple. It was off for a night in Athens where I had the Terrapin Coffee Oatmeal Imperial Stout on draft. Man that was good, but I'll leave that for another review.

Revisited this place on a recent stay in Athens.
Atmosphere is good - it's got a long bar directly in front of the front door, and a decent amount of seating (6-8 booths) behind a bunch of copper kettles used to brew the beer up front. Pennies line the bar, and if you're bored enough you can look for ones that don't belong. As with most places in Athens this place doesn't really get busy until 11:00 on the weekend, and on Tuesday when they do $2 pints.
Quality is good. Every beer on tap was served in an unmarked, room temperature pint glass. In my experiences I've never seen any other glassware.
Service is good. I spoke with the bartender and he seemed pretty knowledgeable about the beer. I never had to wait more than a minute to get another beer, though while I was there it wasn't very busy.
Selection is alright. As others have stated before, they only ever have four beers on tap, all theirs, though they do have more than a few bottles.
Food is good. I had a cup of soup, and while it wasn't great I had no problem finishing it.
Value is good - I had a cup of soup and three beers for around $12.
Overall this is worth a stop if you're in the area. Go to Trappeze first, then walk down the road and check out Copper Creek.

This was going to be our first stop for an Athens beer trip, but it became the last stop because they don't open until 4pm on the weekends.
I was surprised at how small the place was. A long, narrow bar area that runs alongside the brewery in the front with a small number of tables on the right side of the space. Fairly typical brewpub decor. Lots of dark wood and historic photos.
They had 4 beers on tap: a cream ale, an APA, a pumpkin ale, and a porter. I had the APA and found it to be tasty, if not memorable. I went with another BA couple and they both got samplers of the 4 beers.
Service was fine. Our server was old enough to serve, but not drink, so he couldn't help us with the selection, but with only 4 beers on tap, that's not much of a problem.
We didn't have any food, nor did we really notice too many other people eating, but it was already after 10pm when we got there, so dinner service may have ended.
The beers were a very good value with the house beers going for $3/pint and they apparently offer $2 on Tuesdays.
The would be a good stop on an Athens pub crawl, but nothing to out of your way to try. Beers were solid and well-crafted, but not outstanding.

As mentioned by almost all other reviewers, Copper Creek is Athens' only brew-pub. They usually have about four of their own brews on draft, the qualities of which usually range from decent enough to pretty good. Honorable mentions go to Irish Stout, my Copper Creek standby, and their wheat beer, which I find refreshing even though I'm not a big fan of the style.
Prices are very reasonable- you'd be hard pressed to find better beer for the same price downtown. I like $2 Tuesdays, though sometimes it's standing room only.
Service is friendly, and atmosphere is better than average for downtown Athens. I've never tried the food, but I hear it's pretty good. Not much about this place will blow you away, but I still like to keep it in my downtown rotation.

The only brewpub in town, and a pretty decent one at that.
The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. There are a lot of small copper brewhouse vessels behind plexiglas up at the front of the building and the copper theme continues with a bar-top that is covered in pennies under a layer of clear resin.
The service is good, but I have only been there on weekday afternoons when there are only a handful of people in the place.
I have not had a chance to try the food yet.
They only have four or five of their beers on tap at any given time, but they brew in very small batches and the taps change all the time. The bottles behind the bar aren't worth mentioning.
The quality of the beer in generally quite good. The seasonal pumpkin ale is highly renowned and the British styles are well done. They did a smoked porter recently that was excellent. Like any brewpub with an adventurous brewer, they have some less successful beers as well, but more often than not they turn out well here.

Copper Creek is Athens only brewpub/restaurant (that I know of). I have been there a ton of times and was formerly a regular for $2 Tuesdays.
They typically have 4 of their beers on tap at any given time, which rotate approx monthly. You may also have the option of a cask or special seasonal if you are there on the right day. I even got an amazing deal on bottles of Sierra Nevada one time ($1) that I couldn't pass up. Their beers are almost always done well with the occasional style really being special.
Service is typical of a restaurant/bar, as is the atmosphere. Food, on the other hand, can be quite good if you get the right thing. Their vegetable pasta was my favorite until I finally broke down and got the Stout marinated pork chops. They will change your life if you like pork chops even a little bit.
I am actually sitting here wondering why I stopped going. Probably the downtown crowd. Tuesdays get ridiculous at Copper Creek because of the $2 pints so only go then if you are trying to save money.
