750ml bottle into Stella Artois goblet
A - Pours a deep brown with slight light penetration; 2 finger foamy light khaki head which has descent retention
S - dark fruit, figs, raisins, slight caramel/nuttiness, light honey
T - complex, follows the nose, a little more sweet than i was expecting but very pleasing to the palate. dark fruit and raisins up front followed by the caramel/nuttiness and honey, a nice maltiness to it as well
M - Champagne like carbonation but lighter, medium to light in body, ever so slight dry finish
D - I found it pretty easy to take down a 750ml, great drinkabilty for 8.5%
Overall, a great Belgian (style) taste for $5-6. Ommegang hasn't let me down yet....

Deep brown with amber highlights and a slightly frothy ivory head.
Aroma is figgy, with notes of dates. Fairly sweet and bready, with candi sugar.
Fairly raisiny flavor, with light alcohol and a hint of burnt sugar, with a finish of menthol and light dryness. Slight sharp cherry notes are evident. Yeast character is somewhat spicy.
Body is full, with modest carbonation and noted alcohol heat.
Very raisin dominant flavor, with light sweetness and more bready notes. The finish is fairly dry. Alcohol is noticeable. Honestly, I expected more complexity.
