S: 12oz bottle, drank out if a chimay glass?
A: classic wit color, pale straw yellow, crispy white head, good carbonation. Head deteriorates quickly, not as fully as it could be.
S: Light curcao orange, and corriander, but the wheat take over mostly. smells of dry hay and cut grass tangyness.
T: Up front you get the crispy wheat taste, along with some acidic tang, followed by tingly carbonation that pricks your tounge. also faint curcao and corriander flavors.
M: light body, with good carbonation, Head is creamy and fluffy going.
D: This is definatly a hot weather biere, I drank mine with a brats w/ sourkraut, it went down well and didn't over power the tangy kraut taste, you could match this up with any good bbq food and it would work well. Also since the low alcohol level, you could put away a few in a sitting, and their not filling either. although this is not my favorite wit out there by any means it still stands up as an above scale example of the style. but if you like wits try the celis or and easy classic the hoegarden.

Slightly hazy yellow color with a flashy carbonation and a thick two fingers head with great retention and leaving a wall of laces.
Light but nice aroma of white bread, orange, distant banana and coriander.
Predominant Belgian yeasty flavor with notes of fresh acid oranges, white bread and a lemony tartness. Dry and acid aftertaste.
Light to medium body with good carbonation and an acid feeling.
I love Ommegang, but I haven't seen on this Wit much of a difference to a Hoegaarden (ps. I haven't tasted it for a while), it is fairly assertive, nevertheless if the intention was to produce a pleasant refreshing session beer that is not not dull, mission accomplished.
