A - It is a pretty good looking beer, dark red with a light brown colored head that turns into a pretty lace.
S - Some hints of caramel, but mostly cherry.
T - Not as complex as I would like out of a quad. Mostly cherry flavors again with little other flavors from the dark fruits that I have come to expect from the style. The cherry flavor seemed syrupy and was not subtle at all. Although the alcohol comes through as a fairly nice taste in the beer.
M - A bit too carbonated, kind of like champagne.
D - For being almost 10%, the alcohol blends well with all the flavors so it is easier to drink than some beers with a similar abv.
