One of the best beers ive had! i know there are better ones out there, this one just tickled my fancy.
A- Deep crimson, with a half finger head that settles to a layer of pure white foam at the rim.
S- Ripe, unripe, over ripe cherries, and some funk....kind of muted from the temperature that it was served but once warmed up, it takes on a HINT of lime and vanilla.
T- A puckering sour that transforms slowly from acidic to a purely sweet swirl of, once again, cherry and some metallic tinge. VERY complex and wonderful.
M- Light bodied, but not as far as taste is concerned. its like putting a battery, and some cherry syrup in your mouth and letting them duke it out.
D- hard to find, only on draft, these guys need to bottle rouge! I love this beer though. Got a little heartburn from it though. oh well. here's to sour beer!

2008 vintage. On tap at Kickbacks in Jax. Poured into a snifter. White head, low retention on a clear mahogany body. Aroma jumps out of the glass and includes tart cherry, tart green apple, slight malt sweetness, some port. Taste follows closely with the aromas and is maybe the most mouth puckeringly tart beer I've ever head. Quite satisfying and very delicious. Wow.

Served in an Ommegang Rouge tulip; thanks to yourefragile for the glassware. Pours a nice reddish-caramel color with a good short off-white head and not much in the way of lacing. Nose carries slight cherry with a bit of bread and acidity through the background. Flavor has a nice bit of cherry and light malt. Medium body with moderate acidity. Nice take on the style.

Shared by one of the guys, can't remember. Thanks!
The beer appears a pretty ruby hue with a soft head that leaves sparse lacing in its wake. The aroma brings cherries, cider, oak, vinegar. Smells great. The taste delivers as well. I've been anxious to try this beer for quite some time and it does not disappoint. Acetic and tart, yet highly drinkable. Potent aroma and a bold flavor. Light to medium in body with a zesty finish. A strong example of the style. I would most definitely have this again.
