From a 12 oz. brown bottle, part of an 8 bottle variety pack. Pours out a cloudy apricot hue with noticeable suspended particles. Tall tight creamy off-white head with noteworthy retention. Thick rivulets of lacing.
Spicy honey floral sweetness on the nose, mild bready malt in the background. Some mild white pepper and spritzy orchard fruit as well.
Clean grainy malt up front, with some mild orange and lemon citrus character in the middle, and a sweeter yet cleaner citrus impact on the finish. Dry citrus pith character lingers long into the aftertaste. Very clean throughout.
Medium-bodied mouthfeel, slippery slick texture with some brisk carbonation to contrast it.
Covers the bases yet doesn't really wow me in the end, my own subjective take on it. Not a bad beer by any means, I'd have another, though it leave too much of a lasting impression. Would pair well with food though lots of choices with this one.
