Appearance: Medium golden color, not perfectly clear, voluminous white head, tons of lacing. Like a darker Duvel.
Smell: Hops, fruit, citrusy, very nice. Hints of spice.
Taste: Absolutely fantastic. More hops, fruit, and citrusy, with some bitterness, with light malt. Hints of spice.
Mouthfeel: Some thickness to it, with a champagne-like carbonation. Quite good. Seems to have similar characteristics to other Ommegang brews, which is excellent in my book. Honestly wish other brews could do what Ommegang does here.
Drinkability: Perfect session beer, if I had more than one bottle in the fridge, I would have opened it. That good and easy drinking.
Overall: Close to perfect. An excellent blend of Belgian styles and Pale Ales. I'm glad this will become a year round offering, because I need more of it.
