Poured into pilsner glass, light orange with yellow hue. Very nice head that sustained. Okay amount of lacing.
Smells of coriander, lemon and orange zest, some bread and biscuit notes. Very pleasant smell, subtle hints of other spices.
Taste is subtle just like the smell, surprisingly not bitter like most pale ales. Goes down easy, leaves lingering hints of citrus zests, which I am a fan of.
Body is very thin, would have liked a bit more body but cannot deny how readily it goes down.
Overall, if you are a proponent of subtle tasting beers, this is for you. There are so many faint tastes and smells that you'll have a ball detecting them all day. Personally, I am for the heavy hitting scents that are obvious, but this was not a bad beer if you are a supporter of Ommegang and pale ales.
