On-tap at Fuel and Fuddle, Pittsburgh, PA (Oakland).
Poured a copper color with an off-white head. Served to me in a normal pint glass and not a tulip or other preferred glassware, which might account for almost no head or aroma. I was tempted to rate lower on both counts, but did not due to the pint glass. Keep that in mind when considering my review.
Up Front I taste a big malty, caramel/molasses sweetness followed by some fruitiness that reminds me of cherry. Next comes just a little peppery yeastiness. It finishes with some alcohol warming, which surprised me for the ABV of the beer.
Pretty good mouthfeel.
This brew is a little sweet for me to drink a ton of.
Serving type: on-tap
