A: Poured from the 750 ml (caged & corked) into a Stone Old Guardian glass. Body is glowing orangey-amber with a 1-finger bubbly white head.
S: Citrusy fruit over sweet malt and a touch of spice. Pleasant. Slight yeasty funkiness too.
T: Kind of follows the nose: sweet malt (brown sugar) and yeasty sweetness is followed by a touch of lemony bitterness. Lingering touch of tannins at the finish. Good balance. Touch of heat down the gulley.
M: Good fizziness, but with modest creaminess too. Call it medium in heft.
O: Good stuff.
