Draft at The Pour House in Westmont, NJ.

Pours a very cloudy, very dark golden yellow color that's almost ripe banana brown.  Completely opaque and murky with a half finger off-white head that quickly settles into a thin ring.  Minimal spotty lacing left behind.

Slightly earthy aroma with some farmhouse must, peppery spice, pale malt and estery light fruit notes.  Bready with the yeast being the strongest presence.  Not too rustic farmhouse like with lots of sweet apple and pear along with pepper, biscuit malt and crisp, grassy hops.

Medium bodied with tight carbonation and a crisp, earthy funk that lingers over the pale malts, earthy hops and estery fruit notes into a tart finish.  More complex than expected with a strong earthy barnyard funk presence.  Dry, earthy and tart followed by some resinous hop bitterness.  Grassy with some pine needle flavor followed by alcohol and light fruit sweetness.  Hints of apple, pear and light grape along with biscuit malt backbone.  A touch boozy and over carbonated with a weird combo of spice, funk and esters.  Kind of like wild farmhouse version of duvel but I prefer the cleaner flavor profile of the original.

Sampling a cellar temp bottle poured into a snifter. The beer is hazy gold color with bleached white minimal head after even a fairly aggressive pour.
Aroma is mild with bready yeast, some sweet malt and some spicy and earthy hops.
First sip reveals an average to light body with fine rolling carbonation.
Flavor is similar to the nose with some caramel malt and a little musty funk mixed in for fun.
The hops give the same earthy and spicy notes as he nose advertised, I dont get any booze which is nice since it is a bigger beer.

Very easy to drink and worth trying as it is interesting and fairly complex without being messy.

Appearance: It pours a beautiful golden color with an amazing thick, creamy white head that lasts

Smell: Wonderful fruity smell with pear notes and some grassiness

Taste: Fruity, sweet, malty, less dry than the standard Duvel. Herbal grassy flavors as well

Mouthfeel: High carbonation, but with fine bubbles, medium body

Overall: Interesting take on a classic. Not quite as good, but still an amazing brew. Would love to pick up more, and maybe in the future have a side by side with the original Duvel.
