I figured I would try out RFD while I was in DC looking for new beers to try.
The atmosphere is like crossing a sportsbar, yuppie hang out, and beer bar together. They have some TVs for sports and lots of beer paraphernalia. They have an OK number of tap and bottles around but nothing I was very impressed by them having. On the up side I did get to try my first Magic Hat #9 which I enjoyed very much.
While my dad ordered a hefeweizen and the server actually poured it correctly that is about the end of the good service we got. Food, drinks, and the check were slow to arrive and as far as I could tell there were only 3 tables filled in the entire place 1 of which wasn't filled until halfway through our meal.
I had the fish & chips which was about average for a restaurant and overpriced

Went to RFD after visiting DC Chophouse on a Friday night around 10pm and scored 4 seats at the bar. It was actually kind of dead. However, I was able to get Hopslam and DirtWolf so I was pleased. Prices were fine, especially for being so close to the Verizon Center.
