Just as the name says, yup, it's a grocery store with a pretty good selection of beers ie Frost, Lawson's canned items, Heady, Maine Beer Company, Exhibit A, Smuttynose, Allagash and Unibroue seemed to be the more noticeable ones. Pretty clean lil' place, good service/nice staff. When in the Waitsfield area, I don't mind coming back to this place.

Visited 4/9 and used parking lot behind for Lawson's 8th Anniversary Sale. Bought ice and (yet more) beer at Village Grocery.
Vibe: It's a convenience store and sometimes people just weren't supposed to be there today. Gave them .5 more because they provided free parking for the Lawson's event and that is no small favor.
Q: Seems clean, probably a step up from your local convenience store (it's no Wawa, but Wawa doesn't have tasty craft beer).
Serv: A little lackadaisical, but dude helping me carry stuff to the car was much appreciated.
Sel: YOU MUST GO INSIDE THE WALK-IN COOLER, otherwise it looks a lot more sparse than it is. Actually lots of good stuff. Also had a Foley Brothers tasting going on that day, which I am kinda kicking myself for missing out on.

Just a quaint, unassuming, small town grocery store. However, it is on the Alchemist/Lawson's distribution circuit, which instantly catapults it to world class quality. It's one of only a handful of stores to allow full case purchases of Heady Topper and Sip of Sunshine. They offer a large selection of craft, relative to the small size of the store.
