Poured into a tulip glass from a 750ml bottle.
Boulevards Collaboration No. 2 with Deschutes was one of my favorite beers of that year (2011?). So I was excited to see this come out.
Pours a nice bright clear golden color with some nice slight copper hues on the edges. There is a nice half inch active and medium dense white head that forms with a nice stickyness to it.
Aroma is wonderful starts off with amazing grainy and bready notes followed up quickly by some amazing spice qualities. Notes of coriander mixed in with some clove. Slight sugary sweetness creeps up while then some nice bright and grassy hop notes come up. The hop notes are fresh and slightly citrusy with some very mild pine. The spice notes are wonderfully bright and complex for such a light beer.
Flavor starts off with bright citrusy and slightly pungent hop notes. These notes mix so well with the coriander and peppery spice notes. Notes of clove are present as well as some nice bready wheat with some slightly sweet yeast notes. Great balance between the spice and sweet notes with nice grassy and herbal hops that bring a bright citrus and dry finish to the brew. Mouthfeel is light and refreshing.
Just like I remember. Approachable and delicious White IPA.

Appearance: Makes a spectacular entrance, with a meringue-like head capping the cloudy honey colored liquid; plenty of lacing action
Smell: Fresh and herbal, the fruit tones (banana, lemon and orange) complemented by the spicy sage
Taste: Bready, up front, with the citrus making an early entrance; underneath, the sage, lemongrass and other fruit flavors round out the profile; the finish is crisp and citrusy
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: I have been debating whether to purchase a bottle and when I saw it on tap I decided to give it a go; well worth the experience

P: Fairly clear vivacious pale golden body with a massive cap of dense meringue head. Retention is great and crumbles to a rocky crown leaving thick chunky lacing.
S: Spice forward with coriander, cinnamon, star anise, clove, bubble gum, belgian yeast and follows up with earthy hop oil dipped in citrus.
T/M: Lots of tangy wheat, coriander, lemongrass, clove, herbs and dirty earthy hops. Creamy medium body with faint carbonation. Semi-dry finish with lingering orange rind.
O: A nice balanced brew with earthiness, citrus and spices. I could drink this all day long. The yeast strain is delicate and not cloying which helps with the drinkability. I enjoyed the collaboration 2 so I had to grab this. Cheers!
