Served from the bottle in a Lagunitas mason jar.

After missing several opportunities to have this on tap during a recent bachelor party bar crawl in Chicago, I was pleased to find it included in the mixed 12-pack I bought. It pours a hazy gold topped by a finger or so of white foam. The nose is a simple torrent of sweet lemon juice. The taste confirms this, though some mild ginger does seep through occasionally near the finish in short bursts. The body is a hefty light, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry, nearly sticky finish. Overall, a nice enough radler, but I would prefer the ginger to play a larger role, serving to balance the lemon a bit. Still, I could easily see enjoying a few krugs of this in some beer garden somewhere. (754 characters)

A: The beer is rather hazy light yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of ginger are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of ginger along with some hints of lemon citrus.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink and has some refreshing properties. With ginger in the smell and taste, this probably would make for a good pairing with some sushi.

L: Pours cloudy straw under a quickly dissipating 2” white foam cap that leaves very little lace.
S: Has a really big ginger-lemon nose.
T: The flavors are primarily ginger and lemon with light malt and grains in the background.
F: Light bodfied and effervescent O: Suprisingly easy to drink – a good bicycle beer. (320 characters)

I'm ready for this beer to look like a soda, but the head actually shows a bit of substance rather than fizzing out. The color is a murky but bright pale gold. There's even a bit of spotting left behind on the glass.
Ginger doesn't bite too hard but adds plenty of character and not too much spiciness. It's all lemon underneath, though it seems there may be a kiss of grassy hops to even it out. As such, it is not even close to being too sweet, which is a good thing.
Crisp, bubbly, light and refreshing, it even feels a little like a soda with a bit more substance to it. As such, it really does the job, and it's going to be fantastic for hot weather. (660 characters)

It's your basic lemon shandy type beverage. The lemon flavor is pretty strong with a hint of ginger. Not sure if this can be labeled as a beer. (143 characters)
