Bully Porter. Short brown bottle.
*Dark molasses brown, non-transparent, fairly nice head and retention (even though I poured and drank it quite cold). Okay lacing even when cold!
*Very rich roasted chocolaty-cocoa scent a bit smokey, a bit burnt? And a bit of rich coffee smeill? Some type of berry tone that matches nicely.
Quite intense and invigorating!
*The taste is quite rich and powerful and I am not sure on the bitterness (since the taste is quite powerful) but I do feel it teamed up alright with the other flavors. Tasted like it smelt with the roasted/smokey flavoring coming out more as it makes its way down. Has a nice brown-sugar/molasses and caramel taste to it as well, the sweetness level was quite nice and not overpowering (hint of berries?). A fairly dry mouth feel which seemed to match everything else in this beer. Enjoyed the aftertaste as well - still want more!
*Was a bit thick, even when cold, and I would have to at least categorize it as Medium bodied and surely smooth. A small bit creamy but not as much as I thought it might be.
· I have never tried a porter before this one and I think I found an all right starting point as a newcomer to this style. Or perhaps even a Keep it In Stock beer esp. in the winter. Pu...ssshsht... Yes I did just open another, thank you I will have another!

33cl bottle (bb 06/2014) into a tulip. Ruby brown color, three finger beige foamy head with good lacing and ok retention. Smell has roasted dark malts and coffee, on the first whiff right after pouring a citrusy fresh smell. Sweet roasted malts and dark coffee coming up on the taste, dry aftertaste with some hop bitterness and long lasting roastiness. Medium body and carbonation, creamy mouthfeel. A pleasant porter to be sipped on a cold rainy evening.
