Velvety black and perfectly opaque, this surprisingly smooth, drinkable beer is a delightful harmony of smoky roasted flavors and tangy, coffee-like notes. Available only on tap at fine establishments throughout our distribution region.

I picked up an extra bottle to fill out a mix and match sixer at HyVee.
A- 12 oz bottle poured into an Imperial Pint Glass. Rich dark color with aabout a finger's worth of tan head. Leaves a chunky lace. Reactivates easily.
S- Not very strong smell. Roasted coffee, with some floral notes.
T- Delicious coffee flavor, some caramel maltiness. Not very sweet, well balanced.
M- Very light for a stout, and a little bit more carbonation than to be expected. It's not creamy, it's almost fizzy. It finishes very clean and crisp.
D- Due to the lightness, this is very drinkable. In fact I could drink these easily all night. The flavor is well balanced and very enjoyable. It's not a "perfect" example of a stout, but still very good. One of Boulevard's best

Wish they'd consider a comeback; I miss this one quite a bit.
