A nice looking lager. Slight chill haze in the coppery, almost bronze tinted body. Thin half finger off white head formed on a standard pour. Not much for retention, leaves a very thin collar.
Im not quite sure if this fits the description of a Helles better or a Dunkel, but either way this is a quality lager. Crusty bread, a hint of melanoidin, and floral Nobel hop aroma with a touch of citrus present.
Whole grain crusty bread with a kiss of melanoidin complexity as well as a hint of astringent grain husk. Floral citrus blossom and a touch of grassiness from the hops, in a solid supporting role.
Medium bodied, slightly creamy, with nice and full mouthfeel form the Munich malts. Mildly carbonated, with a touch of astringency, and a mildly bitter hop finish.
A damn tasty lager. Quite drinkable, especially considering its solid malty body. Clean and crisp, the hop finish cleans the palate nicely from the sturdy maltiness and makes it easy to go back for more. This is good stuff, definitely recommended. Will be looking for this again in the future.
Thanks to markabberant and your positive review of this brew, made grabbing a six of this an easy choice.
