A - Dark amber color with a large rocky, foamy, creamy, toasted marshmallow color head. Pretty good retention with a nice foamy layer of lace left.
S - Background of caramel malt with a good amount of spiciness as well. Plenty of grassy and herbal hops with a touch of citrus and pine resin. Really just all sorts of hop aromas mixing with some sweet caramel malt.
T - Just a wide array of hop flavors with herbal and floral hops being strongest. A good amount of pine resin and orange citrus with some earthy spiciness. Good amount of spicy flavor and peppery flavors as well. This mixes nicely with the sweet caramel malt background.
M - Fuller side of medium body with about average carbonation. Pretty smooth and creamy feel with a bit of a drying finish.
D - Easy to drink beer that is very well balanced amongst hops and malt and amongst different hop flavors. Not overly sweet or overly bitter.
Notes: A very nice, balanced and tasty IPA. Not the best IPA, but a good one. I would gladly drink this again, it's just a good, tasty, well balanced IPA. Very refreshing.
